Pegasus CEO Matthew Tucker Interviews Pearson Verhoven

Below is a transcription of Pegasus Technologies most recent installment of “Meet the Team,” where our very own Matthew Tucker interviews Pearson Verhoven.

Matthew Tucker: I would like to welcome Pearson here. Pearson is going to be the member today for the Meet The Team at Pegasus. Pearson has been with us now about ten months, Pearson? Is that about right?

Pearson Verhoven: Yes, ten months or so.

Matthew: Celebrate your year in November is what I see.

Pearson: Yes.

Matthew: So, it is great to have you on board. You are quite a great addition to our wonderful team here. So, congratulations. A fun fact, I was just looking through some stuff, did know your customer satisfaction is a four-point-nine out of five?

Pearson: Oh, wow! It is pretty– it is pretty high.

Matthew: Good. All right. Why do not you start off by telling us a little bit about yourself?

Pearson: Well, I was born in Virginia, right around Smith Mountain Lake area. Let us see– I like to play video games, I like to longboard, hang out with friends but as I moved to Delaware, I am not really around them anymore. So, I have moved up here for my girlfriend. We are about to move in together here starting in November once my lease is up.

Matthew: Nice, good. All right. So, we will dive right into the fun part, which is the questions that have been submitted to ask you. I want to let you know that I do not write this. I am just the one to ask them. So, let us start here. If you could be a professional athlete, what sport would you play?

Pearson: Tennis.

Matthew: Tennis?

Pearson: Yes, I played tennis in high school.

Matthew: Oh, so you did play. All right, great. What is the funniest movie you have ever seen?

Pearson: The Other Guys is my favorite movie with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg.

Matthew: Both good actors. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pearson: That is hard.

Matthew: That is hard.

Pearson: Probably potato chips. Yes.

Matthew: I do not even know if that qualifies as a food.

Pearson: Hardly.

Matthew: All right, all right. Well, we will go into some more about eating and if you could have dinner with any three people from history, who would they be?

Pearson: Oh, gosh, I do not know, that is hard. I cannot think of three people off the top of my head, maybe, Tony Hawk? I guess you said history, so that is not quite history, but anyone?

Matthew: Yes, go with anyone.

Pearson: Will Ferrell.

Matthew: Some might say– some might say Tony Hawk is historical.

Pearson: Yes, and last one, Dwayne The Rock Johnson. I do not know. Cool people.

Matthew: Awesome. What is your favorite band?

Pearson: Favorite band is The Black Keys.

Matthew: Would you rather travel in time to the past or the future and why?

Pearson: Future, because I would like to get out of this pandemic. Well, I guess before it is also there but-

Matthew: Yes, but it would still come.

Pearson: -I do not know. Yes.

Matthew: All right, good. If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would that be?

Pearson: Somewhere tropical, probably like Hawaii or something. Be cool.

Matthew: Have you ever been to Hawaii?

Pearson: No.

Matthew: Yes, I have not either. I would like to go one day.

Pearson: Yes.

Matthew: Once they let us in. If you could have any mythical creature as a pet, what would it be?

Pearson: I do not know many, but, unicorn I guess? It is the only one– or Pegasus!

Matthew: Ahh. That is it. All right, I get it. All right. Okay, this is a kind of timely here, if there was a zombie apocalypse, where would you go?

Pearson: I got to think back to The Walking Dead when it was still good. Probably just the suburbs of a town or something, I do not know, it is hard. It is like–

Matthew: Right. I guess we are all going to Walmart. Walmart has everything.

Pearson: Yes.

Matthew: All right. The last one here and this is a good one to end on.

Pearson: Oh, boy.

Matthew: If a strand of spaghetti accidentally went out of your nose, would you sniff it back up or would you pull it out with your fingers?

Pearson: I am one hundred percent pulling that out. No, that is not going back into me.

Matthew: All right. Hey, Pearson, thanks for being a good sport and congratulations on coming up on your year. It is great to get to know you, great to have you on the team and look forward to many years to come.

Pearson: Thank you. Thanks, man.

Matthew: Yes. Take care
